| so full of mixed emotions, non of which are very positive. well that's a lie. i do appreciate all of the people that went to the peaceful sitting and i love you all so much for that. and it's not that you went for me, it's that you went and stood up for what you believe in and that makes me happy that there are people who will do that.
well as some of you are probably wondering by now i got sent home on the band trip for what some say a very inappropriate reason. i walked right next door to andrea's room to hand them a movie at 1230 am....yes, after curfew. i realize that now, not then, so when i was confronted by the assistant principal i was willing to accept an appropriate punishment (because that's what it says in the guidlines....appropriate measures will be taken) but to them they think appropriate means being sent home. so this means that if i were to go smoke weed or have sex with some boy after curfew then i'd get the same punishment for walking right next door to my DRUM MAJOR'S room to hand them a movie. no where in the guidelines does it say that breaking curfew meant going home. and it doesn't even stop there, i wasn't fed at all while being kept in "prison" for 14 hours. i wasn't even offered food until my mom called ms. vowles and said "so does she get fed while in house arrest?" and vowles replied with..."she hasn't been fed yet?!" as if she were really concerned....seriously, she's the one watching over me. she knew.
there were also many other cases where kids were out past curfew...up to 2 hours past curfew! and they all got warnings and sent back to their room. one case, a girl going to a boy's room, the other was playing poker til 2. if i were to be sent home then they should have as well.
that was my weekend. i got my nails done tho |
